Day 1 - Central Florida 26th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration of Umoja at the Winter Park Community Center

On Friday, December 26, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., The Equity Council Corp. invites you to join us as we continue our long-standing tradition of Kwanzaa Celebration in Winter Park, FL and across Central Florida. After proudly honoring our 25-year anniversary last year, we now look forward to the future and to building the next 50 years of Kwanzaa in our community with intention and joy. Enjoy good food, drumming by Tam Tam Alifa African Drummers, and dancing by Winter Park's Kwanzaa Community Dancers, presented by guest choreographer Tanita Fadyeyola. Also, in the spirit of cooperative economics, support Black-owned businesses at the event through the SOKO Marketplace. This year's celebration will highlight the Kwanzaa principle of Umoja (Unity), and we will commence our Kwanzaa celebration with the lighting of the Black Candle!
