Complete KIDS ENTREPRENEURSHIP FAIR Vendor Application

Basic Rules & Guidelines: 

  • Applicants must be between the ages of 6 and 17 on or before the application deadline.

  • The Equity Council Corp. will collect a $15 non-refundable participation fee from all accepted business ideas.

  • The Equity Council Corp. will take great care to limit the number of businesses in specific categories not to have too many similar business concepts. The Equity Council Corp. reserves the right to deny an entry.

  • Inappropriate content, including but not limited to profanity, vulgarity, excessive violence, drug or alcohol use, or material considered offensive to any religious or ethnic groups, gender, or physically or mentally challenged persons, is not permitted.

  • If selling food items: Only small, single-serving, individually wrapped food items such as snack bars, crackers, or candy bars are permitted.  

  • NO SELLING PACKAGED or HOMEMADE DRINKS Due to our agency's DRINK FUNDRAISER 

  • Participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied and supervised at all times by an adult or guardian.

  • You are encouraged to provide your own table, chairs, and tent if you want a tent. Table covers are not provided.

  • Businesses requiring electricity must have their own generator and individual tent. 

  • No more than 2 participants per booth or business idea. One parent of younger children may sit in their booth. The children are responsible for sales, interacting with the customers, and the setup of their both and table (aside from putting up and taking down their tent if you wish to have one).

  • This event is designed to give children a taste of selling a product. Please let them have that experience.

  • By registering to participate in Malcolm X Book Fest Children's Entrepreneurship Fair, you also agree with the Equity Council Corp. Photo Release for Minor participating in the Malcolm X Bookfest Event.
